The first time I saw Aki Sasamoto perform, she wound strings around the seats of the Martin Seagel Theater, as part of a "lecture" on...I don't remember what. Since then, I've been a follower and fan, and was tickled to be able to review her show at The Kitchen for Artforum. Read it HERE, but most importantly, go see this artist for yourself.
